ZION HOUSE
is a TRANSITIONAL HOME FOR HOMELESS WOMEN VETERANS who are coming out
of crisis and moving into self-sustaining independent living. A
place that offers a safe supportive caring environment while the
resident veteran readjusts to making her way in the world with
confidence , a sense of self-worth, and dignity. OUR VISION
The vision of the ZION HOUSE program and the environment in which it
takes place, is to give each participant greater selfdetermination in
the decisions she must make as she moves through life and to help her
in the transition from a homeless situation to secure independent
living and employment. Of prime concern are the decisions she makes
relative to selfworth, relationships, health care, housing, nutrition,
finances, and job. The program is seen as the last step before
independent living after treatment for her wounds.
